Q1

How do I book?

All bookings/payments are done through my booking system. I do not have a public booking link because I like to chat with you first to make sure you select the right package for your needs.

Contact me via email or text and I will send you my available dates and then once you choose one, I will send a booking link that will allow you to pay your deposit to officially get on my schedule!

Payments are non-refundable. As a working mother, I schedule sitters for all my sessions. If a client isn’t invested, it’s too easy to no-show or cancel at the last minute. Whenever this happens, it doesn’t allow me enough time to fill the spot with someone else, which means I’ll lose that day of booking income. So, if you don’t value my time and business, you’ll hopefully value your own investment.

Q2

Do you shoot in a studio or outdoors?

I am a studio photographer only and I shoot in my own studio in Moore, The Black Rose Studio & Event Space. I do NOT shoot on-location/outdoors.

Q3

How much editing do you do?

As you’ll see in my portfolio, my shooting style is very moody and fashion editorial – and yours will be edited similarly to the images on my social media feeds. I don’t photoshop your body because it isn’t true to who you are, and whoever sees the images will know that. My editing includes basic skin smoothing, blemish removal and color correction. This is why it’s important to choose outfits that you feel confident in, that hide what you want to cover and show off what you want to focus on.

This is especially important when choosing clothing for boudoir sessions. For example, if you don’t like your stomach, don’t choose lingerie that shows it. And if your chest needs some lift, be sure to select lingerie that offers cup support.

Q4

Is hair and makeup included in your sessions?

No, hair and makeup is not included (with the exception of the Highroller boudoir package) so all clients must arrive to their session with hair and makeup already done.

I have a list of MUA recommendations I can send of great local artists!

Q5

What’s the typical turnaround time?

My turnaround is usually 2 weeks but can be finished sooner if needed (or if my schedule allows). That time frame also includes editing, photo book design and shipment if applicable.

Q6

Are backdrops included in all sessions?

No, my packages are separated by natural light sessions and backdrop/studio lighting gear sessions.

Headshots and lifestyle sessions are the natural only sessions in the furnished areas of my studio with sofas and desks etc.

Backdrop sessions are editorial style sessions and are priced differently because they require use of all my backdrops and studio gear and are more edgy and fashion focused.
